Mumble New Release: Starter Plan, Draft AI Notes, and More

We’ve just released version 0.7.8 on the iOS App Store, packed with new features to make note-taking even smarter, more flexible, and easier for all types of users. Here’s a quick walkthrough:
⭐️ Starter Plan
If you’re looking for a more lightweight plan that still gives you plenty of space to capture ideas and record conversations, the Starter Plan is made for you. You can now record up to 3000 minutes of voice notes per month, with up to 120 minutes per note, at a more accessible price.
It’s perfect for light to moderate users who want access to Mumble’s AI features without going Pro.
📝 Draft AI Notes
You can now ask Mumble AI to draft a summary note for your Collection, based on all the notes inside. Just give it a simple voice command, and watch your scattered thoughts turn into one clean, structured note.
Whether it’s a project archive, a reading list, or a meeting folder, Mumble helps you wrap it up with clarity.
🖼️ AI Mode for Images
Auto Mode for Collection and Auto Mode for Task aren’t just for voice notes anymore.
With this update, image notes are now fully supported too. When you save a photo, screenshot, or whiteboard sketch to Mumble, it will:
Let you record a voice note for the image or extract text directly from it
Auto-suggest the most relevant Collections based on the content
Extract action items from the text if any are found
A powerful upgrade for visual thinkers.
AI Cover Images for collections have been temporarily removed — we’re working on a more stable and improved version
📎 Other Updates
You can now set a time for recommended to-dos. Once accepted, they’ll be automatically added to your connected calendars at the specified time.
Tooltips have been added for key AI features to help you use them more effectively.
And as always, we’ve included a round of bug fixes and UI performance improvements, including better data syncing, home view loading, audio recording, note translation, AI chat, and to-do reliability.
Temporary Removal of AI Cover Images
We’ve temporarily removed AI-generated cover images for Collections.
This feature is being refined for better stability and quality, and we plan to bring it back in a future update.
